Dr. Salvatore Forcina’s Bio:

Born in Italy during World War II, Dr. Salvatore Forcina’s early years were spent in poverty before his family emigrated to Argentina. Once there, he was sent away to live with an order of Redemptorist priests, as they were the only avenue for education. Eventually, he completed medical school and emigrated to the U.S, where he became the chief of surgery at two major hospitals. My first forty years were full of struggle, but my determination to never give up allowed me to survive and persevere.
