I have a new personal hero

And he’s not from the Marvel Universe or DC comics.

My hero is this guy who held a sign in a subway asking for a job.

What he’s done is not ground-breaking. Let’s be real – he’s not developing the cure for cancer.

But he IS doing something a lot of people refuse to or are too scared to do – stand out.

He likely heard all the stories about the RIGHT way to get a job. Then he ditched all that well-meaning advice and did things his way.

There was no guarantee of success when he did it his way. But then again, there was no guarantee of success in doing it the so-called right way either.

Lesson learned: do something different. Don’t be afraid to avoid the road others have taken. Your personal path may lead you to a place you could never have even imagined.
